ALOE TREATMENT FOR SEBUM
The hair is considered as oily if it looks greasy next day after shampoo. Sebum is secreted by sebaceous gland present in the top layer of scalp which causes oiliness if secreted in great extent. The oiliness of the hair makes it appear as stringy and dirty even though you wash your hair regularly. Factors responsible for the excess secretions of oil from the sebaceous glands are:-
• Heredity
• Hormonal fluctuation in women due to menstrual cycle, use of birth control pills, etc.
• Stress
• Excessive consumption of oil rich food
• Bad hair care products.

CURD APPLICATION
Curd is a good source of calcium, protein and vitamins. It helps with digestion and cools down the body. But over and above its various health benefits, curd can also be used in our beauty regime to benefit our skin and hair. Mix a cup of yogurt with an egg and some olive oil. Apply this all over you hair and put on a shower cap, leaving it on for half an hour. Wash it off thoroughly with lukewarm water to get soft and shiny hair. Use this hair mask twice a month to keep your hair healthy and manageable. Alternatively you can also apply yogurt mixed with a teaspoon of almond oil to condition dry and frizzy hair. Applying curd on the scalp is the best way to control excess scalp sebum. Curd is used along with any of the herbs or spices like gram flour, pepper, methi powder, henna, egg, lemon and so on. Curd is a perfect tonic for improving the quality of hair. The protein content in curd helps to moisturize hair and get rid of all scalp issues. the rich curd also contains antibacterial agents, which help to relief from irritation and scalp itchiness.
